Hotel deals in Munich
There are no fixed “deals” to list, because rates change daily and we don't show prices. Here is how to look for savings in Munich, and where to compare.
When to look in Munich
Usually good to visit: May to September for beer gardens, or December for Christmas markets. Often quieter, with lower demand: February to March. Moving your dates by a few days, or staying mid-week, can change what's on offer.
Where to compare
Rates can differ a lot between areas. Popular choices:
- Altstadt: Pedestrian old town around Marienplatz with shops and historic sights
- Maxvorstadt: Museum quarter and university district with galleries and student cafés
- Glockenbachviertel: Trendy area of bars, boutiques and cafés near the Isar river
- Schwabing: Historic artists' district beside the English Garden, with cafés and elegant streets
Checklist before you book
- Compare at least two or three sites for the same dates and guests.
- Check what the total includes: taxes, city fees and breakfast.
- Look at the cancellation terms. A flexible rate can be worth a little more.
- Try nearby dates and a neighbouring area.
- Read recent guest reviews on the booking site itself.
